School Rules, Code of Conduct & Important Information for Parents and Students

To ensure a safe, disciplined, and conducive learning environment, all students and parents are requested to carefully read and adhere to the following school rules, code of conduct, and important guidelines.

Section A

A.IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARENTS:-

1. Long Absence Without Intimation

If a student remains absent from school for a period of three consecutive calendar months or more without any prior intimation or valid explanation to the school authorities, the school shall be compelled to strike off the student's name from the school rolls.

2. Non-Payment of Fees

In the event that school fee dues remain unpaid for three consecutive months or more, it shall be presumed that the parents/guardians are no longer interested in continuing their ward's education at the school. Consequently, the student's name shall be removed from the school rolls.

3. Medical Absence

In cases where a student's absence is due to medical reasons such as illness, injury, or any other health-related condition, valid supporting medical documents issued by a government-recognised medical practitioner must be submitted to the school. Such cases shall be considered at the discretion of the school management.

4. Serious Misconduct or Indiscipline

If a student is found involved in any serious misconduct, gross indiscipline, or behaviour detrimental to the reputation and discipline of the school, whether within or outside the school premises, the school reserves the right to issue a Transfer Certificate (TC) or expel the student, depending upon the nature and severity of the offence.

Important Note-

For any absence other than medical reasons, it is mandatory for parents/guardians to inform the school office in advance. Parents are requested to extend their full cooperation in ensuring compliance with the above guidelines.

Section B

B. General Code of Conduct for Students

1. Punctuality and Attendance

Students must be punctual for school timings, classes, assemblies, examinations, and all school activities.
A minimum attendance of 75% is mandatory in accordance with the guidelines of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Students are expected to attend school regularly and arrive on time each day.

2. Discipline and Behaviour

Students must maintain discipline both within and outside the school premises and uphold the dignity and reputation of the school at all times.
Respect towards teachers, peers, school staff, and visitors must be reflected through appropriate behaviour, attitude, and language.
Students are expected to cooperate with others, maintain proper decorum, and set exemplary standards of conduct for their juniors.

3. Personal Appearance and Hygiene

Students must maintain a neat and tidy appearance at all times.
The prescribed school uniform, grooming standards, and personal hygiene requirements must be strictly followed.

4. Academic Responsibilities

All assignments, projects, practical work, classwork, and holiday homework must be completed sincerely and submitted within the stipulated timelines.
Regular revision, consistent preparation, and mandatory participation in Periodical Tests, Pre-Board Examinations, and Final Examinations are expected from every student.
Honesty and integrity must be maintained during examinations and all academic activities. Cheating, plagiarism, and other unfair practices are strictly prohibited.

5. Respectful and Safe Environment

Bullying, ragging, fighting, teasing, intimidation, use of abusive language, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated.
Students must contribute positively towards creating a safe, respectful, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

6. Care of School Property

School property, including classrooms, furniture, laboratories, library resources, sports equipment, and all other facilities, must be handled responsibly and with care.
Any intentional damage to school property is not acceptable and will lead to recovery of repair or replacement charges.

7. Cleanliness and Environmental Responsibility

Students must maintain cleanliness within classrooms and throughout the school campus.
Every student is encouraged to contribute towards keeping the school environment clean, green, and sustainable.

8. Restricted Items

Mobile phones, smart devices, electronic gadgets, and other prohibited items are not permitted on campus without prior written permission from the school authorities.
Any unauthorised possession of such items may lead to confiscation by the school management.

9. Essential School Materials

Students must carry their books, notebooks, school diary, identity card, and all necessary learning materials to school every day.

10. Safety and Security

Safety instructions issued by teachers during laboratory work, sports activities, excursions, emergency drills, and other school programmes must be followed diligently.
Any unsafe behaviour that endangers self or others shall be viewed seriously.

11. Parent-School Partnership

Students must ensure that all circulars, notices, and communications issued by the school are shared promptly with their parents/guardians.
Parents are encouraged to remain informed about their ward's academic progress, attendance, and school-related communications.

12. Participation in School Activities

Students are encouraged to actively participate in academic, cultural, literary, sports, leadership, co-curricular and inter-house activities for their holistic development.
Active participation helps build confidence, resilience, teamwork, leadership qualities, and responsible citizenship.
