Admission Process

West Wind Preschool : Shaping young minds

With an intention to serve the students and parents communities and maintain complete transparency, the school follows a well-defined admission process.

Eligibility and Admission Guidelines

  • For admission to Nursery, the child must be 3 years old by the 1st of April, 2026.
  • For admission to KG I,the child must be 4 years old by the 1st of April,2026.
  • For admission to KG II, the child must be 5 years old by the1st of April, 2026.
  • Following documents to be submitted at the time of registration:
    • *Three passport size photographs of the child, father and mother.
    • *Two copies of the Birth certificate of the child, [Aadhaar card details father, mother and child redacted for security protocols]
    • *SSSMID
    • *Caste certificate (if available) of your child.

With an intention to serve the students and parents communities and remain completely impartial, the school follows an explicit and transparent admission process for all classes from Primary to Senior Secondary.

Key admission instructions for parents:

  • Admission shall be strictly in compliance with CBSE norms.
  • Admission up to class IX will be done before March and for XI in June.
  • Candidates selected for admission are expected to join in April / July.
  • Parents are required to accompany the candidates for personal interview.
    The students are tested in:

    a)English, Mathematics, Science(VI to X)

    b)English and Elective subjects (XI &XII)

  • There shall be 1 paper in each of the above mentioned disciplines.The duration for each paper shall be one hour.
  • The child will be tested as per the curriculum and the required level of knowledge of the class, he/ she is studying at the time of the entrance test.
  • Parents are required to submit the following documents:
    • *photocopies of the last two years annual report cards along with the registration form.
    • *Birth Certificate
    • *Three passport size photographs of the child, one each of mother and father.

    These are required for the admission slip, one to be submitted with the admission form and one with the transport form. The transport form will be issued on admission.

  • Submit the original copy of Transfer Certificate within 15 days of admission.
